The Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (often referred to as MMVI or Musée Mohammed VI) is a significant cultural landmark in Rabat, Morocco. Inaugurated in 2014, it was built as part of King Mohammed VI's initiative to promote the arts and to give Moroccan and international contemporary art a dedicated space in the country's capital.
The museum building is a fusion of traditional Moroccan architectural elements with modern design. Its white façade is reminiscent of the white buildings of the medina of Rabat. The museum hosts a permanent collection that showcases the evolution of Moroccan art from the early 20th century to the present day. This includes works from prominent Moroccan artists across various art movements.
